Sudden Changes in Pressure or Temperature
Sudden changes in temperature and pressure will in most cases result in large fluid delivery rate changes. Care should be taken to limit temperature changes during the operation of the pump to no more than 5°C and fluid delivery pressures should be keep constant. The method for predicting the resultant flow rate for temperature and pressure changes is beyond the scope of this document. Please consult Med-e-Cell for applications with sudden changes in temperature and pressure.

Delivery Fluid Compatibility
Delivery Fluids With High Vapor Pressures
Delivery fluids with vapor pressures greater than 80 mm Hg will significantly affect the fluid delivery rate of the Infu-DiskTM pump. The expected flow rate for pumps delivering high vapor pressure fluids is difficult to predict and is orientation dependent.

Material Compatibility
Fluid contact surfaces of the Infu-DiskTM are medical grade plastics and elastomers compatible with a variety of fluids. Please contact Med-e-Cell concerning compatibility of unusual fluids.

The pump has been exposed to Sulfuric Acid with a pH of 2 and Sodium Hydroxide with a pH of 11 with no adverse effects.

Infu-DiskTM Warranty
The manufacturer, Med-e-Cell, warrants to the user of Infu-DiskTM fluid delivery pump that all components are free from defects in material and workmanship. Prior to the expiration date printed on each pump Med-e-Cell will replace any Infu-DiskTM pump proven to be defective in materials or workmanship. Also, prior to the expiration date Med-e-Cell will replace any pump that is proven by accepted measurement techniques (such as stated in IEC 601) not to perform as stated in Med-e-Cell’s “Fluid Pump Technical Data” for the Infu-DiskTM.

This warranty shall not apply to defects caused by misuse or mishandling or substandard fluid delivery performance due to external ambient influences known or unknown at the time of use.

In no event shall Med-e-Cell be liable to anyone for incidental, consequential or special damages of any nature whatsoever arising from the use of the Infu-DiskTM fluid delivery pump.

No agent, representative or employee of Med-e-Cell has the authority to make any representations, warranties or statements concerning performance other than what is stated within this warranty and Med-e-Cell’s “Fluid Pump Technical Data” for the Infu-DiskTM.
